This floating stars quilt was pieced by Ruth and quilted in July 2001. In April 2002, it was awarded first place in a local quilt guild President's challenge.
This photo is a close-up of the lower left-hand corner. It illustrates the feathered cable, as well as a couple of feathers used to fill in between the stars.
This final close-up shows the square feather used to fill several of the areas between the stars.
